My very first styled sweet table I created, I went with the colours blush and champagne, going for the romantic wedding look.


I had a great group of women that took part in this: my flower lady Fleur&Sense, my cake girl Roxy’s Design, and my photographer Laurel Grace Photography.

I decided on a soft romantic feel, like I said, using a pastel colour pallet. I used my kids as the focal point, dressed in their flower girl dresses, showing how they can bring a true feeling of happiness to a wedding. A feeling of joy and innocence. Laurie-Anne captured their cuteness perfectly on camera.

For the table I made cupcakes, macarons, stacked sugar cookies, cake pops.  All were adorned with glitter! I made cupcake wrappers using gold glitter paper bought from the dollar store. I rolled the sides of the cookies in edible glitter and sprinkles some on the tops of the cake pops. Here’s a great tip: fill jars with some extra candy or marshmallows to make the table look fuller and to add some height to your look.

It was raining that day, which was perfect because it just added to the romance of it all.
