This year, why not count down to midnight in the comfort of your own home. This year, why not host a New Year’s Eve Party with some of your close friends.

Last year, I put together a glamorous and sophisticated styled New Year’s Eve bash. I moved around the furniture and created a dinner table set up and a dessert table buffet, complete with champagne and confetti! My colour pallet was black, white and gold. Trixy from A Delicate Gift created these beautiful invitations to go with my theme. I LOVE the bubbly added to the top of the invite.

If you know me by now, I use a lot of gold in my tables and set ups. I think that you can play it 2 ways: Glamorous and Chic or Romantic and Soft. For this table, it totally ramped up the Glamorous and Chic!

My backdrop was an easy DIY. I used Christmas garland and a tinsel backdrop, hung up on the wall. I also left some to dangle freely on the back of the dessert table.

So many cute details that were done to the desserts to match the theme! Pin stripe and polka dotted cake (so Kate Spade!), glitter rimmed martini glasses filled with chocolate mousse and some glittered cake pops.

The confetti was added in gold horns, so that when you blew into them, confetti flew out everywhere. Who doesn’t want to be in the middle of flying confetti at midnight!?

I’d love to hear how you plan to celebrate New Year’s, wether it be at home with 5 of your closest friends or at a major party with 100 of them. Either way, I wish you a blessed year to come filled with love, happiness and friendships.
