Back in March, I had the pleasure of creating my sister’s baby shower sweet table. It was to be a surprise, so my other sister (we’re 4 girls and 2 boys in the fam) we’re going crazy trying to figure out what theme we could do. It was between a Tiffany’s theme or travel theme. We asked mommy to be and she chose travel (of course that was my idea 🙂 ). So this is where the planning process began! We both set out to find unique ideas and accessories to use ,not only add to the theme but ones that she’ll be able to use in the baby’s room.
I found the backdrop on instagram through this really cool shop, that sadly is no longer there.
The backdrop would be the focal point of this sweet table but will also be put above the baby’s crib. Once that was chosen, I contacted my good friend Trixy from A Delicate Gift to create the printables: invitations, banner, food tent cards and thank you cards. She did AMAZING! Please do yourself a favour and check out her shop!
My Sister created the hot air balloons, which the bases were made out of diapers. She also had the ultrasound pictures printed and mounted on Eiffel tower frames as centrepieces for the guests tables.
I added all the sweets to the table like these really cool cake pop clouds set in a travelling case, some cookies, cupcakes, candy and popcorn.
This is a really simple table to create, with a theme and some imagination, you can create anything! All my details were DIY easy and can be found by either googling it or searching through Pinterest. If you’re interested, I would be more than happy to provide my favourite sites that I used.
Needless to say that Mom and Dad were happy with their baby shower and miss Zoe is now a beautiful bouncing 6 month old!
A big Thank you to Laurie-Anne from Laurel Grace Photography for capturing these special moments!
